Out of 19000+ followers I have, only one of you actually reblogged about this issue, yet a lot of you have reblogged and liked a picture by playboy about catcalling and that how men should never do it.
Additionally, I have received abuse in my ask box (which I will be answering when I can) and threats. In particular death threats and rape threats.
I can see the real problem here already. Male domestic violence and rape is just invisible in our society because we don’t want to talk about this because it just damages the status quo of this fucking website.

Reblogging not only because I support male victims of sexual assault, but because this has been a topic of discussion for me recently. I watched (half) of the season of Law and Order: True Crime that depicted the trial of the Menendez brothers from the 90s. The two brothers claimed they killed their parents because they feared for their lives due to the years of sexual abuse they both suffered. On the same day I watched this, my stepbrother started talking about how they were just rich brats who wanted their parents money. My mom believed they were sexually assaulted (as do I). I find it ironic that men do not support other males when they have claimed to be sexually assaulted (and are actually telling the truth) and say that they’re liars. Is it really such a hard thing to believe that men can be raped? Rape isn’t always about physical strength; it’s often about who has more MENTAL power. If a child is abused from the time they are very young into adulthood, who is automatically going to psychologically control their lives? The abuser.
